INFANT EYE TESTING
Infant eye testing which is carried out in rural settings is a complex task. Frequently medical staff are hampered by poor road conditions and the lack of infrastructure such as electricity. Medical equipment is similarly chosen to suit such environments.
The I-AWARE was specifically designed for demanding conditions through the use of a patterning or array solution. In other words, whereas previous solutions required multiple components to test each eye, the I-AWARE use a rotating and flipping action. The core benefit is that no moving parts are required, thereby reducing potential wear and tear. The compact and flat design also allows for multiple devices to be easily transported.
